Gold Lanthanated Tungsten – Recommend on DC applications with mild steel & stainless. Offers widest current range on DC. Low erosion rate and the best arc starts and stability.
Zirconiated Tungsten – Recommend on AC applications for aluminium. Balls well, takes higher current with low spitting and the best arc starts and arc stability. White tip
E3 Tungsten – Good for AC or DC applications. Run cooler and offer longer lifetime than others. Recommend on machines with HF capability only. Turqoise or Green Tip
